Up Work Makeover

While trying to build a portfolio, I signed up with Upwork in order to offer some free to cheap services to draw potential clients. This client was in a hurry and messaged me around bed time. I said I would get back to them first thing in the morning and I did. The client said they had an advertisement that needed to go out by the end of the day and they gave me the following materials to use: I was then given the following mock up of what they had already and wanted to make it better: Then…after a couple of hours and some tinkering around, voila! I came up with this and sent it back. The client was extremely grateful. Not only they they get a much improved version of the Ad but they also received it with plenty of time left on the clock. This was a fun experience and hope to grab more work with UpWork in teh future.

Work Smarter and Harder

Starting Digital Design Creations, LLC has been an exciting journey, and one of my first opportunities came through a collaboration with Robert, the owner of Work Smarter and Harder. We worked together for six years at a startup building hydroponic farms—I managed building projects, and Robert was the Electrical Engineer. When we each decided to start our own businesses, I saw a chance to learn and grow while helping Robert establish his brand. For Robert’s electrical repair company, I created a logo, business cards, apparel, car magnets, a website, and social media accounts. Building his website was especially rewarding as it allowed me to apply my skills and gain hands-on experience in branding and design. Robert’s trust and support were invaluable, and the project became a milestone in my journey. This collaboration is now a featured part of my portfolio because it reflects the results I can achieve for small businesses. Check out Robert’s website at Work Smarter Electrical to see how we brought his vision to life. If you’re looking to build your brand, I’d be happy to help you get started.

Transparent, Honest, and Still Building
My Work in Progress

I know what you’re thinking, “Wait, where’s the portfolio?” Trust me, I get it. A web designer and branding expert without a massive portfolio? Sounds questionable, right? But here’s the thing, I’d rather be honest than fill this space with fake projects or generic fluff.

I’ve spent some time honing my skills in branding, web design, digital photography, and marketing, and this section will grow as I take on more work.
